Advantages Profile |
Algae disfigures and degrades many types of vertical and horizontal
masonry and non-masonry surfaces. Not only is algae an eye-sore, it can
be damaging to surfaces as well.
Algae EaterTM is an all-natural and highly efficient
alternative to standard hazardous chemicals which require hard scrubbing
or damaging power- washing. It renews the appearance of algae-covered
surfaces making them look new again.
Conventional cleaners, like chlorine-based products, require multiple
treatments and only last a few weeks. In fact, using chlorine-based
products, which are 99% water, create more algae growth than they
remove. Algae EaterTM creates a barrier on the treated
surface to protect and prevent algae build-up for at least six months |

Technology Profile |
|
BioTec Technology is the science of using microbes and
enzymes to digest and remove the food source used by algae to grow and
survive. These microbes and enzymes produce complex chemical reactions
that metabolize ammonia, nitrogen and phosphorous into carbon dioxide
and water.
By digesting and removing these essential elements, the algae is unable
to grow and survive. The result is the removal of algae from vertical
and horizontal surfaces. Algae EaterTM creates a barrier that
forms on surfaces to prevent re-occurrence of algae. Algae EaterTM
is not an algaeicide; it is an all-natural alternative to harsh,
hazardous chemicals to remove algae. |
