There is a major difference between odor neutralizers and masking agents. A masking agent is not effective for removing odor. It merely covers it up with another, stronger odor. When the masking agent wears off, the malodors become noticeable again.

Technology Profile
It utilizes Floratec Technology to neutralize and eliminate noxious odors instantly. Most odors are caused by bacteria consuming some type of waste and, as they do, they produce a hydrogen sulfide odor and other rancid-smelling substances. Floratec Technology uses natural vitamins and minerals to chemically alter the bacteria digestive system which allows them to continue to consume the waste but in a method in which they do not produce odors. It does not kill or damage any bacteria system – instead, it supplies essential supplements which enhance the metabolic chemistry of the bacteria. It also increases the dissolved oxygen in water which allows the bacteria to become more vigorous and digest waste more efficiently.
